Gospel of the Lord According to Matthew
Chapter 11 Verses 28 through 30
Jesus said to the crowds:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart;
and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.
Do you trust the Lord when he says that his yoke is easy and his burden light? Do you willingly take it upon yourself knowing that he is hitched to the other side of the yoke? Do you want to help the Lord in His labors?
Do you look upon the works you do for the Lord and realize how easy the work is and how light the burden is?
