Evangelizing your fellow man is easier than you might think. No bullhorns, or sandwich boards, or hitting people with bibles necessary. What is most key to evangelization is living the life of Christ in every aspect of your life.

At Home

The domestic church is your primary mission field. At no time should any efforts with your Church organizations hurt you home. Your family has been entrusted to you by God to help them through their labors in this life and it is your responsibility that they have both the tools they need to make it home and an example of how the faith can be lived thoroughly and courageously.

Your wife, kids, parents, neighbors, and relatives should all know that you are a Christian, not because you have to tell them, but because of how you act and what you do. Because you pray as your first course of action. Because you limit media in the your house to only wholesome and God fearing programming. Because you duties in your household come first, before T.V., video games, movies, or sports. Because you have the joy and spark of the Holy Spirit and you are unafraid of talking about.

At Work

You should not turn your religion off when you walk into work. Do not "leave your religion at the door" as the saying goes. That doesn't mean you walk around the office constantly preaching. That does mean that you still pray before your lunch. It means you ask God to help you with your work. It means that you ask God to bless your work and to make it holy.

It also means that if your work is unholy or that you are being asked to compromise your morals, that you stand up for yourself and your faith. Work is a good thing, it brings with it dignity and respect, at least it will when the work is good. If your work is evil or forces you to make immoral choices then the dignity of the work is compromised and you will find yourself compromised as well. Be the moral person at work, be above reproach, be a Christian at work and do your work well.

At Play

You should not turn your religion off when you decide to have fun. God did not make us to be dour and sad all our days. We are made to have leisure and good fun with the Lord, and we can. The question you have to ask yourself when you engage in leisure is, is this activity in accordance with Goodness, Truth, Beauty, and Love? If it is, then there is nothing evil about engaging in it.

If your activities do fall short then you will need to re-evaluate what you are doing with your leisure time. Unfortunately so much of our cultural activities have been tainted. Watching football might be fine but the commercials between the plays may not be. Be aware of what you are feeding your soul and seek activities that bring you peace and joy and let you run freely in the love of Christ.
