Bury The Dead
In modern industrialized countries this is a given...or is it? How many dead go unburied? The unborn who are terminated, who sees to their remains? What about the homeless or the people with no families or friends who can pay for their funerals? Countries experiencing civil unrest or that are in war zones may have large portions of the population go unburied, uncremated, and just left out. We bury the dead because of the dignity inherent in the human being, please do your part to support the dignity of life.
Most Catholic Charities have a Burial Assistant group that helps people to bury their loved one. Contact your local Catholic Charities office to find out how you can help.
Bury the Aborted
Many members of local pro-life groups bury the unborn remains of terminated human beings. Tragically most abortion providers do not cooperate with this practice or they actively work to stop those attempting to perform this work of mercy. Because of this persecution you will need to become involved in your local pro-life community and work with them in order to be involved in this work of mercy.
