The Knights of St. Patrick is dedicated to getting men back into the field of doing the work of the Church.
Whatever strengths you have, whatever time you can spare, whatever gift you might bring to the table can be put to good use in God's kingdom. If you are willing to help then there is a place in the Church that could use it.
The Knights of Saint Patrick is a network of men who are involved in the work of the Church. Each Knight must be a participant in at least two Church sanctioned organizations. These organizations can be local to the parish, such as the Choir and the RCIA team, or can be international organizations like Caritas or the Knights of Columbus. As long as you are involved in at least two organizations then you can be a Knight.
As a Knight you will be encouraged to join further organizations within your parish, diocese, country, and worldwide, within your ability to do so. You are discouraged from becoming a leader in any of those organizations unless there is a real need within the organization for you to step up. Otherwise you are encouraged to be the helping hands that so many of these organizations desperately need.
As you build your personal resume of organizations you help with and are a member of you will also be building a network between these various groups. You will know, better than many, what is happening in your parish, your diocese, and even around the country. As we share our networks from Knight to Knight we will build a strong, faithful, catholic group who knows how to help, where to help, and who to help.
